Sir Michael Otedola, former Lagos State governor and father of oil magnate, Femi Otedola is reportedly dead.

News of his death comes barely 24 hours after the nation lost a legal icon, Justice Chukwudifu Oputa.

Otedola was born on July 16, 1926 into a Muslim family at Odoragunsin, Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State.

He was the governor of the state between January 1992 to November 1993.
