Pastor Gideon Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church otherwise known as Winners’ Chapel, has lashed out at the Central Bank of Nigeria governor, Lamido Sanusi Lamido, for calling for the scrapping of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
Oyedepo, a pastor in the Abuja branch of the ministry, addressed this during a thanksgiving service marking the second year anniversary of the branch.
According to the pastor: “Sanusi is not God. He can’t call for the scrapping of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
“Nobody can scrap CAN. The government is an institution established by God, therefore, they can’t scatter God’s agenda for Nigeria. CAN is a forum where Christians meet to deliberate on how the work of God must move forward. So, I can’t see an ordinary man asking for the scrapping of the body of Christ. CAN will get back on its feet.
“There’s no way humans don’t have disagreement,” he stated.
The second year anniversary of the branch which coincided with the end of the 21 days fasting of the church worldwide was used as an avenue by the pastor and members to pray for peace in Nigeria.

Really, Sanusi must be suffering from some form of mouth diahrrea. To scrap CAN? He is a religious bigot.

How can you say the government was established by God? Is God a governor or commissioner?
It is bloody simple! If CAN does NOT sanitize itself, it deserves to be bloody SCRAPPED!!!
