Saraki’s CCT trial will not hold until…

Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal |

Presiding judge of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Danladi Umar has postponed the trial of Senate President Olubukola Saraki to May 17 to enable the defence lawyers cross-examine the first proscution witness, Micheal Wetkas properly.

Saraki is on trial for false declaration of assets in what has been an explosive legal battle.

The CCT chairman had in April ordered that the said trial was to commence daily, to the surprise of several observers.
