Say hello to perfect: High end shirts from Grosvenor come to Lagos

by Rachel Ogbu

Grosvenor Shirts founded in 1999 by Karl Dunkley and John Quigley began retailing its brand with a concession in Selfridges London. Fast becoming a household name, Grosvenor will be opening its new outlet in Lagos at 63 Awolowo Road Ikoyi, on November 1, 2012.

Grosvenor Shirts wholly owns its factory in the United Kingdom where it makes all of the company’s shirts, boxer shorts and nightwear. The company is committed to producing their entire collection in the United Kingdom. All of the complimentary accessories are designed in house and made in their factory in Strabane, Northern Ireland, an area where shirts have been manufactured since the 1800’s.

The success of its Selfridges concession led to the opening of a stand-alone store in Mayfair, London, in 2004. A second store opened in St James’s St, Piccadilly, in August 2009.

The Grosvenor collection is designed and produced in the United Kingdom using the finest of raw materials. The creative and classic collection of shirts, ties, nightwear and accessories are created with a British twist, produced in limited numbers, giving the discerning customer an individual approach to dressing.

Grosvenor Shirts are the perfect shirt for every occasion and build a brand that reflected his appreciation of craftsmanship, love of meticulous detail and drive to achieve excellence. Ready to wear comprises shirts styled with quiet elegance in the Classic Collection and the suitably titled Creative Collection that’s designed for days when a little more verve and vim is required.
