The Senate has started investigations into the alleged lopsided recruitment by the Department State Services (DSS).
Chairman of the Senate Committee on Federal Character, Senator Tijjani Yahaya Kaura (APC, Zamfara) stated this during plenary on Thursday.
Kaura also said that there are issues with other agencies regarding compliance to the federal character law.

Senate President Bukola Saraki commended the committee for looking into the matter saying, “We have taken note of this. I’m happy that you are looking at it. I hope you will keep us abreast.”
