So yesterday a woman made headlines following her arrest over a fake testimony  she rendered in church on Sunday.

In case you missed it, here are seven things to note about her.

1. Her name is Blessing Emeka Eze

2. She is 25 and hails from Owode, Ogun state.

3. She goes from one church to another claiming that her 8-year-old daughter, Precious, was kidnapped at Ogba area of Lagos state and released after 11 days in captivity.

4. She was caught by members of Four Square Gospel Church, Obawole, Iju station, a suburb of Lagos state, on Sunday, 7 June, 2015 where she had gone to give the same false testimony.

5. How her lies put her in trouble: She told the congregation that precious told her that she was fed with raw food and raw meat. So the pastor, Rev. A.S. Adekunle, directed people to take the girl to a medical centre for treatment. On getting to the hospital, the doctor examined her and said nothing was wrong with her.

But the mother insisted that something was wrong with her.

At this point, the doctor asked to observe the girl for some time.

Again, her mother objected and demanded that the girl be given an injection only.

6. While the argument was on, two men came in and identified the woman as the person who gave a similar testimony the previous Sunday at Christ Apostolic Church in the same community. They said the church donated N5,000 for her to take care of the child.

7. After she was threatened with arrest,  she opened up and said the girl was not kidnapped at all, adding that she was only using the girl to make ends meet.

She was subsequently handed over to the police at Iju Police Station, Red House, Iju Ishaga, Lagos State for further investigation.
