Born Yusuf Oloyede, YOPI is a dynamic songwriter, singer and performing artiste. His music career started early in the Isolo area of Lagos where he grew up performing songs in several underground street gigs with other upcoming artistes.

YOPI got his first major performance at the YNaija/BlackBerry #Hashtag party at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos where he performed alongside A-list acts like rappers, Ice-prince and Vector.

He is currently signed to Vype Records [promoted by music impresario, Alex Yangs], where he is developing his act to showcase to fans locally and the rest of the world.

Watch out for YOPI as he hits the Nigerian music scene by storm.
