Senator Shehu Sani (Kaduna Central) has urged Nigerians to debunk reports that President Muhammadu Buhari is trying to Islamise Nigeria.
In a post on Facebook on Friday, the Senator highlighted that such reports only threaten the existence of Nigeria.
He wrote, “Its unfair to President Buhari for any individual or group to accuse him or his administration of having any theocratic agenda. Other issues raised about his administration may or may not be true but certainly he is not a religious bigot. If there exist credible evidence of a religious agenda I’ll be one of the first to raise a voice.
“Elder statesmen should champion the cause of peace and national unity and not aggravate the crisis. In this inflammable or combustible state of our country, we don’t need more bellows of ethnic smokes or religious flames.
“We must balance our natural passion to defend our ethnic and religious rights and our moral duty to preserve peace and our constitutional responsibility to preserve the unity of our country.
“A dark cloud of uncertainty hangs over the sky of our country, it’s our duty as patriots and men and women of conscience to stand and to speak to dispel it.
“Ethnic and religious sentiments are corrosives inimical to our existence as a country and as a people. We can collectively extinguish the infernos of agitations by standing up for our country.”

Of all the coined stories designated by some national statemen about if President Buhari is trailing the nation toward Islamazation is but a fear of becoming potential captives of their historical handwork by been the front fegurs of making lawful, what the law has made illegal to single handedly acumulate in their posation the public procurment resouces. Becouse in Buhari’s leading goverment the Sultan is never an aid to the flying fader of Presidency.
There is no plan to Islamize Nigeria, Nigeria is a signatory to many Muslim organisations under Buhari they have held a conference in Abuja and their leaders have visited this country so many times, This issue are all lies but all defence purchases are from terrorists sponsoring countries Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia etc
It is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that the hausa Fulani people want dominance and Buhari is helping them achieve it.
I dont know how possible is that, if someone walks up to you trying to Islamise you Christianise him first. Nobody can make you inferior without your consent. It is high time our so called elders should say what will unite us and not what could disintegrate us.
