Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan has attacked former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode for ‘peddling falsehood’.

In a series of tweets, Fani-Kayode had stated that Alhassan, who is in charge of the rehabilitation of Chibok girls had a revelation to give about the role Governor Nasir el-Rufai in the “scam.”

While responding through a tweet on her Twitter handle, Alhassan said she never made such statement, adding that Fani-Kayode should respect himself as a former minister.

She said, “As a former minister of the Federal Republic, it is demeaning on your person to deliberately engage in peddling falsehood. I never said such.

“You peddled falsehood. And that’s exactly what it is: lies and propaganda. Thank God the APC is cleaning up your mess.”

The former minister had earlier described Alhassan as a courageous woman for standing against President Muhammadu Buhari.
