TICKER: Stray bullet hits two-month-old boy

A 2-month-old boy was grazed in the shoulder by a stray bullet last night in New York.

In yet another senseless act of gun violence, Trayvon Brunson was in a stroller, being pushed by his parents near the Seneca Houses in Hunts Point, when shots rang out.

His horrified parents saw their little boy was bleeding and rushed him to a nearby firehouse. An ambulance then drove him to Lincoln Hospital, where he was treated and released.

“Everything needs to change. The community and the people in it,” said the boy’s aunt Klanee Brunson. “They need to stop letting people buy guns. People don’t care if there are old ladies or babies on the streets. They don’t care who is around.”

The boy’s father said he thanked God his son was all right.
