Super Eagles, Rohr, Oshoala get CAF awards nominations

The Super Eagles of Nigeria has been nominated for National Team of the year at the 2017 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Awards.

CAF announced the nominations on Monday.

Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr was nominated for coach of the year.

Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala, is among the nominees for the best women’s player award.

Nigeria’s U20 women national team, Falconets also got the nod as possible winners of the women’s national team of the year award.

The award gala will take place on Thursday, January 4, 2018, in Accra, Ghana.
