That’s how Botswana deported an American pastor for……

American pastor who is known for his anti-gay stance, Steven Anderson has been deported by Botswana for his ‘notorious’ homophobic comments on a Botswana radio station.

Anderson was said to have made daring comments about the Orlando nightclub shooting and was subsequently arrested by immigration officers on September 20 while in the studio.

The Botswana government announced on its Twitter handle that Anderson was now a “prohibited immigrant”.

Anderson had earlier been banned by the South African government due to hate speeches.

“I feel sorry for people who live in South Africa, but thank God we still have a wide open door in Botswana,” Anderson had said after hearing about his ban.
