Former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar has come all out to deny any involvement in the erection of campaign posters in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, purportedly signifying his intention to vie for the upcoming presidential elections in 2015.

The signs were placed in strategic places for commuters to catch a glimpse of the Adamawa born politician which the inscription ‘The Alternative Candidate’.

Abubakar has, however, denied any involvement wondering why the people behind the billboards were not immediately arrested by security operatives.

He reportedly said : “It is baffling that people can erect billboards and posters in a city like Abuja in broad day light without being spotted and arrested by security agents”.

With the billboard subject coming out to disown them, we urge the owners to state their intentions. It’s all politics we presume.
