1) Again, EFCC arrests Fidelity Bank Managing Director
The Fidelity bank MD, Nnamdi Okonkwo was reportedly rearrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over his alleged role in the $153 million election fund.
Although Okonkwo was later released by the EFCC we await the reason why he was arrested for a second time.
3) Kanye West’s sex tape
It’s yet unclear whether the news of Kanye’s sex tape is true.
But if anything, a Kanye West sex tape will break the internet almost as much as his wife’s nude selfies breaks everything, including a possible world record.
It will be interesting to see the context for this release, and the rationale for such a celebrity failure in judgement.
3) Saraki Vs CCT
The trial of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has drawn out for awhile and series of embarrasing testimonies have been given in court.
Yesterday, the first prosecution witness, who also happens to be an operative of the EFCC, admitted that some the evidence tendered in court were in complete.
Just before we officially enter Saraki-case fatigue, a few questions: How will this pan out? Will it affect the prosecution’s case? What does Saraki have to say about this?
4) Fuel queue returns?
It was reported yesterday that oil marketers are yet to resume importation of petroleum products despite the recent increase in fuel price and removal of fuel subsidy.
The oil importers say that they face difficulties in sourcing for forex to import petrol.
Seriously, will there be fuel scarcity, again?
