If you’re a student with a creative eye and you’re reading this, then you’ve come into some luck! The British Council’s presenting its first Creative Industries Expo in December and is looking for aspiring, emerging or established professionals in any of these creative industries – Advertising, Architecture, Art, Crafts, Design, Fashion, Film, Music, Performing Arts, Publishing, Software & Computer Games, TV and Radio.

You get a chance to meet creative people and learn new skills, develop and expand entrepreneurship skills, understand how investors think; and learn how to protect your intellectual property, use digital media to promote your work, deal with the government and influence public policy and do business with the UK; and then get to meet like-minded professionals, policymakers, and business leaders.

The expo holds on 4 – 7 December, 2011 at the Ekpo Centre of theEko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The Keynote Speakers are Nigeria’s Minister for Culture and Tourism, Chief Edem Duke and the Life President of Eidos, Ian Livingstone, OBE.
