Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has clarified the much criticised $1 billion approved by the governors for the fight against security in the country.


The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti have disagreed with Governor Ayodele Fayose over the state’s N56 billion debt profile by the Debt Management Office.

The party accused Fayose of spending the money on needless projects which he awarded to companies belonging to his friends while Fayose said the allegations are true.


The Nigerian Senate has stayed the 2018 budget over what it identifies as discrepancies in the said budget.


Governors Ayodele Fayose and Abdulaziz Yari have openly disagreed over the $1 billion approved by the governors to fight security in the country.

Fayose later told journalists he is going to court over the said approval.


Surprisingly, the Imo governor, Rochas Okorocha has said that no reasonable indigene of the state will protest against him.

But, it is just an irresponsible statement.
