Earlier on Sunday, operatives of the Lagos State Task Force and some men of the Nigerian Police invaded Otodo Gbame, a riverine community in the state reportedly on the orders of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
Gun shots were fired as houses were burnt leaving residents stranded on the water.
Not please with the development, Nigerians condemned the action, demanding for justice.

This #OtodoGbame story is heartbreaking, it's officially a crime to be poor in Nigeria. This wasn't what our fathers had in mind in 1960.
