It was a close race between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. News anchors are called this election unchartered territory. Donald was leading by 244 to 215 but has now won. Moments before, the chair of the campaign, Podesta spoke at the Clinton campaign, telling supporters that it’s not over yet. But now it’s over. So over!
But who would have thought that Donald Trump would have made it this far? Who the heck saw this coming? Many saw him as a joke, and gave him lots of airtime to peddle his sexism, racism, divisive and ignorant comments about politics and policy and today, that joker has just become the leader of the free world.
It’s safe to say that this has some people unravelling at the seams.

8 years ago, people cried tears of joy at our first African-American President. Today, half our nation voted for a man endorsed by the KKK.

What's even more demoralizing is knowing how hard Hillary's worked and how qualified she is, and yet… And every woman knows this feeling.

Tonight is what backlash looks like – to women's rights, to racial progress, to a cultural shift that doesn't center white men.

It's not about Trump or Hillary. It's about the fact somebody ran on a platform of straight up racism and the U.S. Liked it.
