It is galling to many that PayPorte thought it fit to bring Kemen over to their office for chit chats and photo-ops, instead of washing their hands off him.
The thread below shows that
i. Nigerians, including PayPorte, do not understand the link between actions and consequences
ii We let religion get in the way of many things, so we see many a wrongdoing as a sin, not a crime; the former therefore requiring forgiveness and not punishment.
iii. PayPorte might have only “punished” Kemen because of Twitter NG’s indignation.
Do see below:
PayPorte spends all these hundreds of millions only to scatter all the efforts with one wrong move?

hosting and celebrating someone that should be in court for sexually harassment.

Haba!has he not apologized ?y over flog d issue ?hAs he not been disqualified already?ifGod can Forgive us ,y can't we forgive ?
— ogie (@marythesa) March 10, 2017
So, apologies mean the brand should associate directly with him? After they put out a release? Because apologies makes it okay?
— Online Olúbàdàn | (@gboukzi) March 10, 2017
did f guy kill someone?he fucked up,biggy treated his fuck up!he has apologized wat else again?he shd be crucified?who Neva sin?
— ogie (@marythesa) March 10, 2017
Unfortunately apart from the fact that his apology was half arsed, this isnt one of those cases where apology makes everything ok

He has suffered enough and apologized. https://t.co/PXPxKrAZTk
— OLU LOCO (@tope414) March 10, 2017
not surprised for 2 reasons.1. The payporte CEO is from his state 2. In his so-called apology he tagged Payporte so I kinda called it
— Arthur (@KingArthur9ja) March 10, 2017
Dear @PayPorte u need to fire whoever on your PR team it was a good idea to have @officialkemen at your office for photo ops. Terrible idea.

In sensible climes, no organization will touch Kemen with a pole but do we have sense in Nigeria? https://t.co/2mPTFtP41u
— ThatPortharcourtBoy (@ThatPHCBoy) March 10, 2017
So I'm just going to assume that @PayPorte 's CEO also condones sexual assault. Is anyone thinking in that organisation? https://t.co/yOOuSGT3Do
— Ijeoma Ogwuegbu Udum (@IjeomaOgud) March 10, 2017
He has apologized. I see no reason why he should not be at a meeting of Ex housemates. I haven't seen them celebrating him really. https://t.co/3mWgr8te8C
— OLU LOCO (@tope414) March 10, 2017
I beg i hope someone gives you that kind of apology after you go through that kind of thing. https://t.co/QUzGkezViu
— Ijeoma Ogwuegbu Udum (@IjeomaOgud) March 10, 2017
I'm not going to kill the person. The aim of any punishment is not to destroy but to correct and make the person a better person. https://t.co/TmVzijJPbN
— OLU LOCO (@tope414) March 10, 2017
And please where has that been done? What consequences has he suffered? None. He's being feted by a sponsor. How is that not disgusting? https://t.co/LM6Za0bDKZ
— Ijeoma Ogwuegbu Udum (@IjeomaOgud) March 10, 2017
Please what exactly has he suffered? Did he spend a minute in jail? https://t.co/UKyYqDvXXK
— Ijeoma Ogwuegbu Udum (@IjeomaOgud) March 10, 2017
Why does he have to go to jail? He was disgraced out of the house. Is it until they kill him you would know he has suffered? https://t.co/TntxyBbw7A
— OLU LOCO (@tope414) March 10, 2017
And you think the next best thing is for them to be celebrating him and having him appear in their pics. Great marketing. https://t.co/lnFiZAQ2lf
— Ijeoma Ogwuegbu Udum (@IjeomaOgud) March 10, 2017
Disqualification from the house. He was also disgraced. Those are consequences. Then he apologized and promised to be better next time. https://t.co/7TBS7ZjqYt
— OLU LOCO (@tope414) March 10, 2017
You mean when he said "sorry for your perception of my actions" rather than actually apologize for the actual actions? No. Unacceptable. https://t.co/Wq4XI3prZf
— Ijeoma Ogwuegbu Udum (@IjeomaOgud) March 10, 2017
I don't understand why a contestant that was disqualified NOT evicted is still being indulged by the sponsors. This is just wrong.

Again it's obvious @PayPorte sees nothing wrong with sexual assault.
Spend your naira wisely https://t.co/6KnioQ4lq4— MenAreLike3CorneredTarts.? (@CheRox) March 10, 2017

And for all the rape apologists in my mentions talmabout 'he has apologized, what more do you want', feel free to sit on a nail.
— Ijeoma Ogwuegbu Udum (@IjeomaOgud) March 10, 2017
6 Inches nail please https://t.co/pj8JGBeF7V
— ThatPortharcourtBoy (@ThatPHCBoy) March 10, 2017
So @PayPorte makes a stand as rape/ sexual assault apologists. Women should just boycott the brand. They obviously don't care about you!
— The High Priestess (@shirlzXL) March 10, 2017
And if you work for them… They still don't care about you!
— The High Priestess (@shirlzXL) March 10, 2017
DKB slapped Zainab. Hannington slapped Lerato. They were disqualified and the sponsors made sure they didn't identify with them.

A store that publicly associates with an accused Sexual molester does not deserve our business #BoycottPayporte https://t.co/LoeuQuyiDY
— Fẹyíṣárá (@pheyiola) March 10, 2017
We wonder why Nigeria is the the Shit hole it is. Then we turn around celebrate people like @OfficialKemen with real consequences.
— Ijeoma Ogwuegbu Udum (@IjeomaOgud) March 10, 2017
Befuddling.
