Every day on the Nigerian internet, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.
Here’s our list from today:
1 Omojuwa vs SBM Intelligence
Battles on Twitter Nigeria usually begin with a tweet- or a thread. This one was put together by SBM Intelligence. The writer of the thread laid out Nigeria’s economic challenges and proceeded to pick it apart. It touched upon the “witchhunt” or “political moves” the FG has made in recent times against Atiku’s company Intel.
According to political pundit, Omojuwa, SBM was supporting the monopoly of Intel over free markets that ought to rule the markets.

2. Troll Cabal
Troll Cabal Convener Ose, couldn’t stand to see SBM Intelligence condemned just like that. He called their actions “disgraceful”.

He didn’t stop there, though. Below is the concluding exchange.

4. Abubakar
Intel’s co-founder Gabriel Volpi apologised to the Federal Government, saying it misunderstood some of its obligations to the FG. Abubakar questions the purpose of the House of Reps inquiry into the matter.
Now that Intels has apologised to FG, admitted wrong doing and now ready to comply to the directive it earlier refused that led to the termination of their service with NPA, what will those who politicised the issue and lied over what didn't happen say?
