Imagine that you’re on a long flight and you take a sleeping pill in order to get some rest. Then, you wake up and are being fondled by the person next to you. That’s what happened to a woman on a flight this week and she’s not taking the issue lightly.
Luavalu Seuva’ai has been arrested and charged in an incident related to a woman that he was sitting next to on an Hawaiian Airlines flight in mid-August. The woman had taken some Nyquil and fallen asleep, and the man felt that this was his big chance to grope her while she was knocked out.
Well, groping is not a game in the court of law, and the man now faces time in prison for doing something that a man is allowed to do if he’s dating the woman, but not if she’s a stranger. Seuva’ai and the victim were chatting before she went to sleep, so perhaps he took a liking to her.
The woman says that soon after their conversation, she woke to find the man’s hands under her clothes without her permission.
