Posting LOL to Facebook can land you in jail, a woman has learned after being thrown in jail by an angry judge, according to reports in the news media.

A Kentucky woman was sentenced to jail after posting a comment to Facebook mocking a DUI charge, according to court records.

Paula Asher was allegedly drinking and driving when she crashed into another vehicle and was arrested following this incident. She later published the following comment on Facebook: “My dumb *** has gotten a DUI and hit a car LOL.”

A judge ordered her to delete her Facebook page, and when Asher did not comply, she was charged with contempt of court and ordered to spend two days in jail.

The judge said that this should be taken as a lesson not to defy the order of the court.

Asher received four charges related to the incident, including leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of a controlled substance, Tricia Kittinger with Woodford County Circuit Court told a newspaper.
