When introducing Davido to the stage, Wizkid said, “A lot of people say myself and this next artist are beefing, but today we will dispel the rumours.”

It was music to the ears as many had hoped the alleged feud which began in May this year would end. It was definitely one of the highlights of The EME Baddest concert which took place at the Oceanview in Victoria Island December, 21.

Also after the concert, Davido told a reporter: “Wizkid and me are best friends.”
 
They had announced in October that they are working on a track together.

So it seems the alleged rumours can finally rest in peace.

Earlier this year, Davido reportedly left Wizkid in a bar with their N500,000 bill, this supposedly put a strain on their relationship as Wizkid felt let down by Davido.

Already, their relationship was tested after the bitter break-up of Mo’Hits as both artistes had their allegiances divided between Don Jazzy and Dbanj .

But what would finally prove to be the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back was when Davido sent out invitation to guests for the launch of his O.B.O Album and he didn’t send any to Wizkid.
