Every day on the Nigerian internet, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.
Here’s our list from today:
1. Paris Saint-Germain
PSG is on a roll today, trolling Barcelona and trumpeting their signing of Neymar in what has been termed a world record deal. They even made a video about it. See below:

2. Malala
They asked, Malala answered. She may not be a football fan, but she’s celebrating the work of her hands- her book.
Opened the mail and thrilled to find a copy of my first picture book, Malala's Magic Pencil! pic.twitter.com/Zwoa1f28cC

So happy that my mother, Toor Pekai, who is learning English, is the first one to read the book. pic.twitter.com/VzoQNDyJ3o

3. J.K Rowling
While one is celebrating, another is mourning. Author of the popular Harry Potter series mourns the death of Robert Hardy, the actor.
So very sad to hear about Robert Hardy. He was such a talented actor and everybody who worked with him on Potter loved him.

After all, to the well-organised mind, death is but the next great adventure. pic.twitter.com/PX5ZbjtsSy

Yes! How I first came to know Robert Hardy.

4. Wole Odeleye
The living have problems that the dead no longer have to bother about, one of which is maintaining certain levels of comfort. Hear Wole:
I know what it's like to be hungry and penniless.
I've sworn never to go back to that life. Forward ever
— The Pe@cock (@WoleOdeleye) August 3, 2017
5. Papa Bule is concerned with alchohol.
I think Hennessy, Jack Daniel & Remy Martin are all trash.
— Papa Bule (@bule_jr) August 3, 2017
6. Ife has a ‘life hack’ for you. This one has to do with body count
We girls should stop using the word "Ex".. When you say that, people see a former sex partner. Just say "A guy I used to know" instead ?
— Princess Ife❤️ (@ife_luv12) August 3, 2017
7. Thomas Sowel
A fan of Sowel has tweeted one of the quotes from his book. It’s a good one.
“It is usually futile to try to talk facts and analysis to people who are enjoying a sense of moral superiority in their ignorance.”
— Thomas Sowell (@ThomasSowell) August 3, 2017
8. Kcee
Is this the end of all things for Nigerian entertainers? Just like Yul Edochie who announced his interest in running for governor, the Limpopo singer, KCee has also thrown his hat into the ring- to comical effect, unfortunately.

Pretty ironic about his attention to detail when Anambra is spelt incorrectly on his poster https://t.co/619yHhcjlc
