Every day on the Nigerian internet, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.
Here’s our list from today:
1 Omojuwa
And the debate of who the first African (or Nigerian?) is to sell out Royal Albert Hall ensued…because Wizkid must be denied even this small victory. Omojuwa and Mr Aye Dee go head to head:
2. Oluwatosin muses on a different topic.
What if Nigeria overhauled its army and then made military service compulsory for Nigerians?
Two years and you're done.

The Big Chief responds.
Even NYSC we have not been able to manage well. You want us to create better trained robbers and kidnappers? https://t.co/eOynmTzYQU

3. Rochas Okorocha
So it appears Governor Rochas doesn’t know the answer to this question, which is quite alright. But with his sea of advisers and ever-trusty Google, did he have to embarrass Imo state so? Mtscheeew.
Hey God ? https://t.co/DZJMlKWFam

4. Seun Onigbinde
Co-founder of Budgit has a public service announcement: Nigeria is broke. What’s worse is that fellow Nigerians (Buharists, really) want to shut down others for questioning too much.
A citizen interrogates a doc that the govt published. Another unfortunate Citizen says the govt should not respond a tax-paying Citizen.
— Oluseun Onigbinde (@seunonigbinde) October 2, 2017
The kind of self-esteem some citizens confer on themselves is so unfortunate. So much work in civic education.
— Oluseun Onigbinde (@seunonigbinde) October 2, 2017
It is your right to ask questions. Government should work out the answers.
— Oluseun Onigbinde (@seunonigbinde) October 2, 2017
Just last week a member of CBN's MPC warned that FG has turned the Apex bank to its ATM. Is it when CBN suffers a credibility crisis?
— Oluseun Onigbinde (@seunonigbinde) October 2, 2017
How will you say a govt handle responding to a citizen is giving the person relevance. What's the essence of govt?
— Oluseun Onigbinde (@seunonigbinde) October 2, 2017
If we can print away our issues, why are we interested in raising revenues? You are printing money but no recurrent adjustment.
— Oluseun Onigbinde (@seunonigbinde) October 2, 2017
This same red flag when Buhari waited 6 months to appoint Ministers. FG debt to CBN is rising and citizens have the right to ask questions.
— Oluseun Onigbinde (@seunonigbinde) October 2, 2017
Write it down. All ye fiscal restructuring hawks. Nigeria has a HUGE revenue CHALLENGE & the country is not ready for honest conversations.
— Oluseun Onigbinde (@seunonigbinde) October 2, 2017
We really need to be hard on people who mess up idea of Governance as some kind of Lordship. It's a key factor that weakens Accountability.

5. Donald Trump
On Sunday night, Las Vegas was the victim in a shoot out by a rich gunman that claimed 59 lives. Trump tweeted his condolences.
Our prayers and deepest condolences are with all those affected by the evil perpetrated in #lasvegas #lasvegasshooting

6. Ava calls Trump out on his hypocrisy.
The lone wolf. The local shooter. The gunman. Any and everything, but terrorist. Wonder why.
— Ava DuVernay (@ava) October 2, 2017
