Every day, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are even downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.
Here’s our list from today:
1 Mr Aye Dee
Zahra Buhari and her husband have angered Nigerians for taking the presidential jet. This photo was posted by Ahmed Indimi on his IG page.
Since then, there’s been a debate as to the abuse of office that this portrays. See below:
Question
Acting @NGRPresident @ProfOsinbajo, why is daughter of incapacitated @NGRPresident @MBuhari flying around in a Presidential jet?
— Mr. Aye Dee (@MrAyeDee) May 9, 2017
Answers
Just stop being silly, she accompanied her mother and the wife of the VP to visit the "Molested" child in Kano alongside her husband.

Only God know what type of weed Mr. Aye Dee is taking these days?. 😂.

Nitwits.

2. Okang Ochui
Uber or Taxify– Who is the greatest of them all-?
You must have figured out by now that Nigerians love a good debate. Do see below:
So, I requested a @Taxify_ng today, right? Driver accepts the trip, then phones me to say he's not going to drive at Taxify's prices…
— Ash. (@hey_ashiwel) May 9, 2017
He tells me he's on strike, so when he gets to me, he's going to cancel the trip, then charge me for the trip at his own price.
— Ash. (@hey_ashiwel) May 9, 2017
And, just like he said, dude gets to my pickup location, cancels the trip, drops me off, and charges me at his own rates.
How was your day?

The recent price reduction is a wrong strategy on both ends . drivers might consider going back to regular car hire service. None is winning

Uber will still thrive…. Remember its not public transport #noshading

No. I think I should conclude my post on the concept of "Proximate Value Pricing". Taxi is an industry that tends towards luxury. WE aspire. https://t.co/7MlwG1MI09

Time will tell.
3. Yemi Osinbajo
The president of Nigeria has gone on another medical vacation. Before he left he sent the Senate a letter informing them of his absence and putting Osinbajo – the Vice President- in charge.
This has become the subject of another debate on Twitter NG. Yes, these debates do occur simultaneously.
We have Mr Aye Dee below arguing that the Vice President is merely ‘coordinating affairs’ on behalf of the President.
Your MD goes on leave and asks a Manager to 'coordinate' activities of your office. Is the manager the acting MD? Heck No.
— Mr. Aye Dee (@MrAyeDee) May 9, 2017
between the letter and the constitution which one is supreme, which one will you take?
— Aliyu Abdullahi (@ali_gadangas) May 9, 2017
You can argue all you want, but @MBuhari, the one person who could designate @ProfOsinbajo as 'Acting President' BLATANTLY refused to do so.
— Mr. Aye Dee (@MrAyeDee) May 9, 2017
The constitution is supreme & any act which is inconsistent with d constitution is null and void to the extent of its inconsistency

4. Rotimi Fawole
Lawyer and writer, Rotimi Fawole disagrees.
The wording of the President's letter to NASS is irrelevant. pic.twitter.com/F9VFkR9OyY
— Tex (@TexTheLaw) May 9, 2017
The only thing NASS needs to be notified of is that the President is proceeding on vacation or otherwise unable to discharge office.
— Tex (@TexTheLaw) May 9, 2017
The constitutional process does not require anything beyond notifying NASS that he's away., as far as I can see.
— Tex (@TexTheLaw) May 9, 2017
After all, there’s a reason why the constitution is the Grundnorm.
Mr. vice president, why did Mr. President refused to hand ✋ over d affairs of d country to u?
— Nwadiuto👼🤍 (@_haromida) May 9, 2017
AG Osinbajo had to weigh in

6. Oge Nwaobia
Oge laments about the consequences of getting rich by do-or-die means:
I received a call today about someone whose son has been sentenced to death for kidnapping in Nigeria.

What you sow, you reap, its not magic. It's just life.
