Every day on the Nigerian internet, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.
Here’s our list from today:
1 Onigbinde
Budgit co-founder has raised pertinent issues about the gaps in Kemi Adeosun’s op-ed concerning Nigeria’s debt.
The Kemi Adeosun's piece on debt does not provide specifics on how Nigerian plans to raise revenue. it only rationalized rise in debt. 1/

2. Ayo Sogunro
Following the outrage about Kachikwu’s leaked memo, Nigerians expected that President Buhari would react decisively- if for any reason to show his seriousness about his anti-corruption war. It’s $26 billion dollars, fraud for goodness sake. Let’s just say we’ve been all disappointed.
When you accuse 'previous generations' for doing nothing, this is us now. It was not fear that stopped them. It was mostly weariness.

Others weigh in
Just read the reply of Baru. The arrogance of NA OUR TURN TO RULE. Then he insults all of us by suggesting he owes us no accountability.
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
Baru’s response says it all: I HAVE THE BACKING OF BUHARI and I can do anything I like without approval or even FEC. #BringBackOur26Billion
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
NA OUR TURN TO RULE Nigeria PLC ???
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
N9trillion Naira gone & that is the only reply Baru could give. We don enter Once Chance for Nigeria. #BringBackOur26Billion
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
What Buhari and his cabal members are doing to Nigeria is painful. #BringBackOur26Billion

Those who started this corrupt act in Nigeria must be crying in their grave(s) ,they never know it will be to this extent.. https://t.co/U1VwINhw2R

To have imagined this was what Tinubu fought for… Chai https://t.co/sdFZBDU7WZ
— Ile Ife (@ileiife) October 9, 2017
Exactly. And the reply clearly shows that @MBuhari & Baru both teamed up to steal our $25B. https://t.co/tGebQ8Jln1

Tribalism is killing Nigeria more than corruption.
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
What really is the duty of a Minister of State? I had always thought it's like deputy minister until I read the NNPC response to Kachikwu
— Nwachukwu Emmanuel (@emma_dele) October 9, 2017
3. Afrispheric has christened Buhari…
Buhari is the new Diezani Alison Maduekee aka DAM
— afrispheric (@afrispheric) October 9, 2017
4. Imam Imam
Since President Buhari appears clueless about what he ought to do, Imama Imam helped him out with this listicle.
What NNPC needs
1 Buhari to resign as Petrol Minister
2 Abba Kyari out of the Board
3 Pass PIB and operationalise it#My10koboopinion
— Imam Imam (@imamdimam) October 9, 2017
Simples.
5. Dolapo Oni
Still on Mrs Adeosun’s article, Dolapo points out the larger problem:
My real worry is that we haven't acknowledged the fundamental economic problem we have as a country. Nigeria is poor & largely unproductive
— Dolapo Oni (@Dolarpo) October 9, 2017
A colleague argued this with me. He insisted Nigeria is rich as politicians share money everyday. I’m tired of trying to convince people.
— Oba (@OlaseniOladejo) October 9, 2017
Amazing.
6. Deji Adeyanju
Former PDP member has dished out some advice to his former party. The sum of it is if PDP must clinch the presidency in 2019, it must beg.
I hate to talk about these issues but many of these PDP boys & girls on social media are too naive to even engage them.
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
Many of the people that can help you win election in 2019 are not in your party. You need to go and beg them to come help your party.
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
You all need to swallow your useless pride and go beg people. Kneel down and beg them. Go and beg CSO leaders, influencers, everyone.
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
APC in 2015 went round this country to beg people at night to join them. CSOs, opinion leader, etc.
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
To win presidential election even against a democrat like Jonathan, you needed to beg everyone to support you not to talk of a tyrant now.
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
Majority of the people that can give Buhari serious headache in 2019 are still in APC or not interested in politics anymore. Go & beg them.
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
Empty pride. Empty party. Clueless people. People that can’t do jack demonstrating pride.
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
To win in 2019, you need a miracle and then you need exceptionally strong and intelligent people all over. Infact you need everybody.
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
And the man looks like someone that will write about 10m votes. Stop your yeye pride. If not Na only like 5 states una go win in 2019.
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
As far as 2019 is concerned, nobody needs PDP for anything. PDP needs people more than people need PDP. So get off from your high horse.
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
APC that is ruling party still needs people not to talk more of confused opposition like PDP. ?
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
Let me move to other important things jor. Many of those folks are beyond redemption.
— Adeyanju Deji ?? (@adeyanjudeji) October 9, 2017
Una don ready?
7. Lena White
Dove has been taking a hit on Twitter for what people are calling a racist ad. It depicted a black woman turning into a white woman afyer using the brand’s lotion.
Black Twitter raised one hell of a ruckus:
Let's be clear, Dove knew exactly what they were doing with their racist ad. Soap companies used to do this racist theme all the time pic.twitter.com/EzvAiExNcP
— Tariq Nasheed (@tariqnasheed) October 8, 2017
Dear Dove, I’m never taking off my shirt again.
