As that ghastly accident occured on the third mainland bridge, Lagos this morning, another was happening in Awka, Anambra state.

Eyewitnesses say the accident happened at Finotel Junction, along Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, Awka, as a trailer fell on a family of 6 and killed 4 of them instantly, including the parents.

Saddened by the development, the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano condoled with the family of the victims and  announced he’ll pay all medical bills to be incurred by the surviving duo who are receiving treatment at Anambra State University Teaching Hospital, Amaku.
