Trump attacks Senator Corker hours before meeting GOP Senators

President Donald Trump resumed his Twitter battle with Tennesse GOP Senator Bob Corker hours before he attends a luncheon with Republican Senators at Capitol Hill.

Trump, through flurries of tweets, chided Corker who heads the Senate Foreign Committee on issues from forging the Iran nuclear deal, his decision to retire from the Senate, to his delivery as Chairman of the Senate foreign committee.

Trump accused Corker of engineering a bad Iran nuclear deal, described him as a lightweight Senator and obstructionist to his agendas and also taunted him for deciding not to seek re-election just because he wouldn’t endorse him.

Bob Corker, who helped President O give us the bad Iran Deal & couldn’t get elected dog catcher in Tennessee, is now fighting Tax Cuts….”

“…Corker dropped out of the race in Tennesse when I refused to endorse him and now is only negative on anything Trump. Look at his record!”

Isn’t it sad that lightweight Senator Bob Corker, who couldn’t get re-elected in the Great State of Tennessee, will now fight Tax Cuts plus!”

Trump’s new fury at the Senator was sparked by a morning interview on NBC’s “Today”, where Corker offered a litany of criticisms directed toward the US leader.
