Trump calls on Democrats to fix Obamacare after partial repeal

Following the signing of an executive order to make adjustments to Obamacare on Thursday, US President Donald Trump has extended a hand of bi-partisan collaboration to Democrats in order to find a lasting fix to the Obama signature healthcare policy.

The executive order added some provisions of the healthcare policy by cutting premiums on insurance and is an attempt by the administration to roll back the Trump-dubbed broken mess-healthcare gradually after Congress failed to strike compromise on the bill.

“ObamaCare is a broken mess. Piece by piece we will now begin the process of giving America the great HealthCare it deserves!”, Trump tweeted.

“The Democrats ObamaCare is imploding. Massive subsidy payments to their pet insurance companies has stopped. Dems should call me to fix!”

Meanwhile, critics argue that the new plan is at the detriment of millions who will see their subsidised insurance removed by cutting premiums on the insurance companies. Experts reveal that the new plan would benefit only healthy people as long as they are healthy, but would deprive people with pre-existing conditions from seeking adequate treatment.
