The House just passed the Senate’s version of budget resolution and President Trump is not keeping quiet about it.
The budget allows for Republicans to pass their planned $1.5 trillion in tax cuts with a simple vote majority through reconciliation rules.
Trump tweeted shortly after the GOP budget passed by a narrow 216-212 margin, writing, “Big news – Budget just passed!”

The House followed suit of the Senate’s process last week on Capitol Hill, and by doing so the move will pave the way for the GOP plan to pass a major tax reform bill by the end of the year.
