Despite the latest failure of Republican Senators to ramp votes for the new Obamacare repeal bill, President Trump is unperturbed about the development and boasts of an eventual repeal of the Obama signature healthcare plan.
Trump who discounted the impact of Arizona Republican Senator John McCain’s rejection of the bill, said he would ensure the repeal at a later time but noted the GOP leaders must get rid of the Filibuster Rule to achieve that.
He wrote in a tweet: “We will have the votes for Healthcare but not for the reconciliation deadline of Friday, after which we need 60. Get rid of Filibuster Rule!”

In an earlier tweet, Trump wrote: “With one Yes vote in hospital & very positive signs from Alaska and two others (McCain is out), we have the HCare Vote, but not for Friday!”

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell(R-Ky) announced on Monday that the Senate won’t be going to vote on the Graham-Cassidy Bill as they couldn’t muster the needed vote to pass the bill within the September 30 deadline which only requires 50 votes after GOP Sens. John McCain(Ariz), Rand Paul(ky), Lisa Murkowski(Alaska) and Susan Collins(Maine) all dismissed the new bill.
