US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart, Vladmir Putin have been listed among the 100 most influential persons for 2017 by TIME magazine.
The list categorised into five sections – Pioneers, Artists, Leaders, Titans and Icons.
The 2017 edition has actress Viola Davis, musician John Legend, Melinda Gates, Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos and Riz Ahmed on its cover.
Chinese president, Xi Jinping appears on the list for his eighth time, the most of anyone featured this year. Activist for LGBT rights, Gavin Grimm is the youngest person on the list at 17 years old while Sandra Day O’Connor, the first female Supreme Court Justice, is the eldest at 87.
Notable figures like Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey, Arnold Schwarzenegger, David Beckham and John McCain also worked behind the scenes to pen tributes to this year’s featured influential people.
