Trump rebuffs Democrats claim of a DACA deal

President Donald Trump has rebuffed claims by Democrats leaders that a deal about Dreamers was reached last night at a dinner between both parties.

President Trump met with Senate minority leader, Chuck Schumer, and House Minority leader, Nancy Pelosi at the White House to discuss the DACA legislation and other lingering issues.

Trump, however, wrote in a tweet, “No deal was made last night on DACA. Massive border security would have to be agreed to in exchange for consent. Would be subject to vote”.

In another tweet, the President wrote, “The WALL, which is already under construction in the form of new renovation of old and existing fences and walls, will continue to be built”.

After the dinner, House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi(D-Calif) said, “We had a productive meeting at the White House with the President. The discussion focused on DACA.”

“We agreed to enshrine the protections of DACA into law quickly, and to work out a package of border security, excluding the wall, that’s acceptable to both sides,” Pelosi added.

However, President Trump has revealed no deal of such was reached as postulated by the Democrats.
