President Donald Trump late Tuesday night tweeted to shade the Emmys 2017 ratings held on Sunday night where host Stephen Colbert and erstwhile White House press secretary, Sean Spicer made a mockery of Trump’s inauguration attendance.
The 11.4million viewership though a little above last year’s 11.3million ensures the awards have now hit new ratings lows for three straight years.
In the tweet, Trump wrote, “I was saddened to see how bad the ratings were on the Emmys last night – the worst ever. Smartest people of them all are the ‘DEPLORABLES.'”

There is a high tendency that this year’s viewership was affected by the unending attacks on President Trump by the producer and host of the awards, Stephen Colbert.
