United States requests U.N. Security Council meeting on North Korea missile launch

A spokesman for the U.S mission to the United Nation said the United States on Tuesday, requested a closed-door meeting of the United Nations Security Council on North Korea’s latest IBM (Intercontinental ballistic missile) launch.

The spokesman said the 15-member council meeting was likely to be fixed on Wednesday. North Korea said, Tuesday that it had successfully launched its first intercontinental ballistic missile(ICBM), which experts say could put all of Alaska in range for the first time
