US President Donald Trump has said Republicans must resist The Freedom Caucus, a faction of the party.
Trump said this Thursday via his Twitter account.
He said the faction must get on board fast else they hurt the entire party.
“The Freedom Caucus will hurt the entire Republican agenda if they don’t get on the team, and fast. We must fight them, and Dems, in 2018!”, he tweeted.

The Freedom Caucus played a huge role in stopping the repeal of ObamaCare as it refused to bulge if some of its demands were not met.
Trump’s call to fight the faction in 2018 is apt, as the US midterm elections hold next year.
The election holds on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. All 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives and 34 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate will be contested.
