Davido reveals how many orphanage homes he has helped this year

Nigerian superstar singer Davido took to social media to reveal that he had helped so far in 2025.

On his X (formerly Twitter) page, he posted images with over 500 names and account numbers belonging to orphanage homes with the number of children admitted under each home.

The artist is often known for his benevolence towards the less privileged and this year, he has donated to over 500 homes, promising to do so again next year.

K-Peace alleges that he won ₦7.5 million but was tricked by Nigerian Idol

Kunle Ogunrombi (K-Peace), the Nigerian singer, has made serious allegations against the organisers of Nigerian Idol.

In a recent interview on the Honest Bunch podcast, K-Peace claimed that the organisers misled him regarding the prizes he would receive after winning the fifth edition of the reality music show in 2015.

He stated that although he was presented with a cheque for ₦7.5 million and a car gift upon being declared the winner, the organisers did not fulfil their promises immediately. This lack of support, he alleged, left him struggling to make ends meet.

Clarence Peters opens up about wanting to live a different life from his dad’s

The Nigerian music video director Clarence Peters has opened up about his intricate relationship with his father, the acclaimed juju artist Shina Peters.

In a recent episode of the #WithChude podcast, Peters discussed his father’s past shortcomings, especially in how he treated women, and how these issues have influenced his perspective on relationships.

He mentioned that Shina “screwed up” by not adequately supporting his mother, actress Clarion Chukwura, who he indicated was pushed to the sidelines by Shina’s colleagues.

At 41, Clarence shared that this experience had a significant impact on him, and he is actively working to avoid repeating his father’s mistakes in his relationships with women.

Kendrick Lamar delivers unforgettable performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show

The halftime show of Super Bowl 2025 was a memorable event, highlighted by Kendrick Lamar’s electrifying performance, which featured surprise guest appearances from Samuel L. Jackson and Serena Williams.

While the Philadelphia Eagles’ victory over the Kansas City Chiefs was significant, the halftime festivities captured much of the excitement. They became a key part of the Super Bowl tradition.

The show started with a striking introduction by Jackson, who appeared on stage in an Uncle Sam costume.

The actor set an engaging tone for the event, welcoming Lamar to the stage and sharing insightful commentary throughout the performance. Jackson’s involvement brought a sense of nostalgia and patriotic flair to the occasion.

Kendrick primarily performed tracks from his latest album, GNX, and hit songs alongside SZA.
