Governor Fayose of Ekiti and his predecessor, Kayode Fayemi appeared more like buddies yesterday contrary to reports of a bitter acrimony between them and their political supporters.

The two politicians literally stunned witnesses as they exchanged pleasantries at the 60th birthday of ex-governor Segun Oni which was held at the Methodist Church, Ifaki, Ekiti.

Punch Newspaper reports that both men, who sat together laughed heartily as they exchanged pleasantries during the ceremony.

As if that wasn’t shocking enough, both men were said to have chatted all through the event like brothers.

We hope they’re not just doing this for the cameras though.
