Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike on Wednesday suspended four commissioners for three months.

This was announced in a statement released by Special Assistant to the Governor on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu.

The affected commissioners are Dr John Bazia, Chieftaincy Affairs, Tonye Briggs-Oniyide; Culture and Tourism, Fred Kpakol; Finance and Boma Iyaye; Sports.

According to Nwakaudu, the Head of service and Special Adviser on Lands were also suspended.

The statement however, failed to give reasons for their suspension.
