Celestina Mamah cannot be described as accepting her situation, in spite of the associated trauma that comes with her status as being HIV positive.
The 46-year-old took her life – having found out she tested positive for the human immunodeficiency virus.
Mamah went to a forest near Ogwu Rest House in Udenu Local Government in Enugu state and stabbed herself to death on May 28.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Enugu state police command, DSP Ebere Amaraizu said her corpse was found the next day at about 11am.
