Workers of ExxonMobil have shut down the multinational company in Lagos over an attempt to sack 100 Nigerian workers, The Cable reports.
According to the news platform, a source said the shut down followed a
“dispute between the employees union — Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) — and Mobil management on initiating an arbitrary sack of Nigerian employees without conclusive negotiations”.
