Why would a little girl talk like this

Why would she yell at her sister

Why would her mother standby

Only repeating “She’s a small child, she doesn’t know what she’s doing”

Where does civilisation meet traditional values

Do we have to give up one for the other

Can we successfully marry the two

Can our children still be taught life lessons from our folklore

Yes, we took the religions

Maybe its time we review our positions

If we stop to think, just maybe we’ll find that delicate balance between

civilisation & our culture

The balance that marries technology & tradition

The balance where love for family holds our marriages together

The balance where we dance & sing together, celebrating not destroying each other

The balance of a new culture: civil yet traditional.
