Ekiti lawmakers abandon their jobs to protest ‘harassment of Fayose’ (PHOTOS)

Apparently, Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose is not alone in his travails in the hands of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as members of the State House of Assembly have declared their support for him.

26 members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly on Wednesday took to the streets of Ado-Ekiti to protest against the alleged harassment of Fayose by the Federal Government.

The lawmakers also decried the intimidation of the members of the Stat Assembly by the Federal Government through ‘witch-hunting apparatus’.

The lawmakers who left their primary duties in the House to station at Okesa Junction, Ado Ekiti vowed to remain at the spot for the rest of the day in protest.

The lawmakers promised continued support for Fayose even if it costs them their lives.

The lawmakers who attended the protest arrived with traveling bags prepared for a possible arrest.
