Kenyan pastor, Bishop Thomas Wahome is a cleric who is surrounded by  lots of controversy.

His church, Helicopter of Christ ministries, has a bizarre name to start with and according to the Kenyan media they have described the  “Man of God” and his church as “just out of this world” as he is “known to craft very bizarre ways of conning his flock.”

In 2012, pastor Wahome was charging  KSh 1,200 (N 2,300) to anyone who wanted to touch his garment referring to the woman who touched Jesus’ clothes in the book of Mark, claiming that people who touched his clothes got instant healing from whatever disease.

The recent news from his church is that pastor Wahome can  “Check whether your name is the book of life”.

Wahome claims that if you give him KSh 1,500 (N2,900) he can actually ask God whether you are among those people who will go to heaven. He claims that he has a direct line to God and he can communicate with him directly.

Very hilarious, if we must say so.

  1. He does have a direct line to God
    BUT
He is supposed to be reconciling men to God
not making money out of them,
    THE GREAT COMMISION
