Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu has said there is corruption everywhere,even in the EFCC.

Magu said this on Friday when he paid a visit to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai in Abuja.

He called on other agencies of the government to collaborate with the anti-graft agency.

He said, “The reasons why we are here is that we need everybody’s support. We do not have the monopoly of knowledge to do what we are doing.

“There is corruption everywhere, every institution, including the EFCC. We are battling with internal corruption. So, everybody has a stake in this fight.’’

Hebalso announces that the agency has arranged for the mobilization of women in uniform on Dec. 7 to join the fight against corruption.

He added that “we also want to appeal to you to join us in fighting corruption. Let’s have a change. If you can discipline yourself, you do not need another person to discipline you. Self discipline is key.’’
