The American elections are just around the corner and folks on Twitter think that contrary to popular opinion, a Trump win will boost the Nigerian Economy.
Here’s what Amara Nwankpa, IT specialist and social commentator, has this to say:
Now let me offer some predictions. I could be totally off, but I think Trump stands a good chance of winning this election. ?

If that scenario happens, it would be immediate good news for Nigeria and here's why: dollar value and oil prices.

Yeah, but the reprieve will last only a few months. What happens next is anybody's guess. https://t.co/ylsDt3Uw1i

If Trump wins, the global markets will panic a little, weakening the dollar. Pressure on Naira will reduce. For a while. ?

The weakness of the dollar is likely to be pronounced & prolonged like £/Brexit, this will trigger higher oil prices. Perhaps above $80/bbl

So Nigeria gets handed 2 gifts: Forex reprieve & higher oil revenues in the medium term. So, Trump victory is in the current govts interest

Fingers crossed.
God will not grant you desire. I’m a christian but that’s not the way to go. That dude is not a leader and has not one quality of a leader.
Leaders don’t talk anyhow. How can someone like Trump lead the biggest nation in the world.
Comment: i have a self motivated desire i want donal trump to win so that all the islimisation agenda will be fulstration but if God say no to my desire i will accept his final verdict
