Earlier in January, reports emerged that Wizkid might have fathered another child with an American based Guinean named Binta Diamond Diallo after she posted pictures of her baby on Instagram.

In the photos, Binta covered the face of the baby boy, whom she named Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun Jnr, which coincidentally is also Wizkid’s biological name.

However, things took another turn when the Atlanta-based beauty told The Shaderoom that the Afro-pop singer has refused to own up to his parental responsibilities.

In the interview with The Shaderoom, Binta Diallo referred to Wizkid as a ‘deadbeat dad’.

Further digging made by YNaija’s entertainment reporters revealed that Wizkid is indeed shying away from his fatherly responsibilities.

Inside sources disclosed that the ‘Joy’ singer has also refused to show up for a DNA test requested by Binta Diallo, to prove that he is indeed, the father of her son.

“Wizkid is refusing to accept the baby, and he’s not paying child support. He’s also refusing to make himself available for a DNA test to determine the paternity of the baby,” a source told YNaija.

The source added that in Nigeria, it may be alright to do avoid taking responsibility for your child, but “in the US, they take such things very serious as his hide and seek with the mother of his child may also affect him, whenever he’s trying come in and go out of the country.”

Meanwhile, in a video released by Hip TV on Thursday, Wizkid was to comment on the matter, but he simply wouldn’t be drawn into uttering a word.
