If you spent some of your Monday on Twitter like we did, then you must have caught some part or the other of the @officialEFCC handlers’ #Format trend.

#TheEagle “hit a nerve” and thought to help by enlightening people on the various ways that Nigerian fraudsters prep their preys for the taking.

One thing they failed to take into account is that: YOU.CANNOT.PLAY.WITH.NIGERIANS. Quickly, people started to pull out parts of the Buhari-Osinbajo campaign promises that they consider #Format. You should read it all here.

The one we found most interesting though is this little piece from a speech the President gave in London a month before millions of Nigerians voted for him en-masse.

In it, you’ll find the General so strict in his condemnation of waste that he started to list the things he won’t be entitled to if he didn’t fix Nigerian infrastructures first. Take a look:

“Why do I need to go for foreign medical trip if we cannot make our hospital functional?”

Guess he didn’t see his undisclosed medical condition coming. (Or did he?)

In any case, President Buhari who promised to be just like anyone of us – the weaker animals – has been out of the country this year on “foreign medical” vacation for a total of 114 days today.

For good measure, he has also had one of the national jets (NAF 001) parked for a minimum fee of 1000 Pounds just in case he needs to be “immediately evacuated” according to Garba Shehu, one of his many media aides.

No one knows for sure what ailment the President is suffering from or if it can be properly managed in Nigeria. Nor does anyone know when the President will be back.

We do know one thing now though and it’s the 411 of this particular #Format: President Buhari comfortably scammed us in 2015 and we are still making the MAGA payments directly to him. Indefinitely.
