2015: Atiku campaign posters appear in Abuja

by Adeola Balogun

The race for the 2015 elections seems to have already begun as campaign posters bearing the image of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar are said to have been sighted in several areas of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The posters reportedly appeared yesterday along roadsides especially the Umaru Yar’Adua way which leads to the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport.

The posters are said to bear Atiku’s photo but they do not advertise any political party so it is unclear on what platform the former VC will contest.

Vanguard reports:

Though there were no parties attached to the posters, but they were sponsored by the Turaki Network of Change, (TNC) with inscription, “inspired by Change, Turaki Network for Change, TNC Atiku Abubakar GCON ( Turaki Adamawa) Bigger Challenges Greater Opportunities.”

Atiku who has not formally declared interest to run for the 2015 Presidential election against President Goodluck Jonathan, is presently a member of the National Executive Committee, NEC of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
